Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Scientific e-Book

The Scientific E-book section aims to publish comprehensive, well-structured, and in-depth works that go beyond the traditional format of scientific articles, allowing for a thorough exploration of relevant topics.

E-books may include:

  • Evidence-based practical guidelines

Scientific Review

The Scientific Review section aims to provide critical, descriptive, and interpretative analyses of works relevant to the academic and professional fields, such as books, e-books, manuals, guidelines, or other technical-scientific publications.

Reviews should go beyond a simple description of the content, offering a well-founded evaluation of the work, considering its relevance, originality, scientific rigor, and contribution to the advancement of knowledge and/or professional practice.

This section seeks to guide readers regarding the quality and applicability of the analyzed publications, as well as to promote critical thinking and scientific updating.

  • Scientific and academic books
  • E-books
  • Technical manuals
  • Clinical guidelines
  • Relevant technical reports
  • Classical or contemporary works with impact in the field

Final Course Project

The Final Course Project section aims to publish academic works developed by undergraduate or graduate students, representing the synthesis of knowledge acquired throughout their academic training.

The works must demonstrate scientific relevance, methodological rigor, and contribution to the field of knowledge, and may include original research, literature reviews, case reports, or the development of protocols and technical products.

This section seeks to encourage student scientific production, promote research training, and disseminate high-quality work with potential academic and/or professional impact.

Proceedings of Scientific Events

The Proceedings of Scientific Events section aims to publish works presented at academic and scientific events, such as conferences, symposiums, seminars, and scientific meetings, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and the documentation of scientific production presented in these contexts.

The works may include abstracts, extended abstracts, or full papers, provided they demonstrate scientific relevance, methodological clarity, and alignment with the thematic areas of the event.

This section seeks to increase the visibility of scientific outputs, encourage participation in academic events, and promote the integration of teaching, research, and extension.
